It also has various designs with high-quality glass materials to provide energy-efficient results.

Windows for Basements

Security is one of the most important features of basement windows. In most cases, intruders and burglars gain access to your home through the basement with less secured and unsafe entries. This energy-saving type can open inward from the top for ventilation purposes. It is also designed for safety with its shatter-resistant feature.

Sliding Patio Doors

If you are replacing sliding glass doors, it’s likely because they no longer operate as well as they once did and don’t keep the heat or cold out as they should. ProVia’s vinyl sliding glass patio doors are tested against the most stringent industry standards for air and water infiltration, wind load resistance, ease of operation, and more. This means you’ll have lower heating and cooling costs, low maintenance, and increased comfort.

At the same time, our sliding patio doors offer the opportunity to upgrade the entry to your outdoor living space, with glass options that make your door more visually appealing. Our BetterVue® fiberglass mesh screens provide an enhanced view, increased insect protection, and improved airflow, while also shedding water and resisting dirt and grime.

With ProVia’s vinyl patio doors, you’ll have the assurance of knowing that most patio door systems offered not only will look great and function well, they will be ENERGY STAR® certified, providing optimal energy efficiency.

Architectural Windows

Custom window shapes, typically called architectural windows, are a great way to increase curb appeal for your home, providing the finishing touch on an exterior home improvement project.

These windows, which come in a variety of shapes and sizes, can be used alone as a single focal point or in combination with other windows to create a show-stopping view of the outdoors. Architectural windows will complement your home’s unique style, while allowing more natural light to brighten up your space. Shaped windows look great above other styles of windows or they can easily accent a patio door.

These windows vary in energy efficiency, ventilation and view, depending on whether they’re fixed or operable, and which window brand and glass options are selected.

Picture Windows

Picture windows are stationary windows that work well in any room of the home, particularly in areas where you don’t want open windows to interfere with exterior landscaping or features like decks and walkways. The big advantage of picture windows is their unobstructed view, a great way to highlight beautiful outdoor scenery.

A large picture window can be used to replace any style window to provide abundant light and a spacious view. In addition to the aesthetic improvement that replacement picture windows can provide, ProVia’s windows are highly energy efficient. Large picture windows can be grouped together to create a stunning window to the world or paired with casement or double hung windows to enable airflow.

Garden Windows

A long-standing favorite as a kitchen window right behind the sink, garden windows are ideal for bringing in extra light and providing a space to grow small plants or herbs. They also can be used in the bathroom or den as an alcove for decorative accents. The three-dimensional design of garden windows helps open up the room, providing an eye-catching way to increase the curb appeal of your home.

Provia’s custom, vinyl garden windows feature two operable casement windows and two fixed sashes. Each of the operating sashes includes a screen to keep insects out. Our garden windows are also available with one or two adjustable glass shelves with polished edges, brackets, and standards.

Bay & Bow

Bay windows and bow windows are a beautiful way to draw attention to your home’s exterior, even though they technically are not single windows. Bay and bow windows are constructed of either operable double hung windows paired with picture windows, or operable casement windows paired with fixed casement windows.

The difference between a bay window vs. a bow window is simple: Comprised of three total windows, a standard bay window requires a larger window flanked on each side by a more narrow window, with each set at an angle. The center and side windows can be fixed, double hung or casement. A bow window is configured of four or more windows of equal size set at angles to create an arched projection. As with a bay window, the individual bow window components can be fixed, double hung or casement.

As a replacement for a set of double hung windows or standard picture window, a bay and bow windows replacement looks amazing in a living room or master suite, with a window seat that provides a great place to sit and read or just enjoy the view.
